- Long strides.
- As she nears her target she, “breaksdown”. That is,
- she lowers her centre of gravity,
- shortens her stride,
- her legs pummel faster,
- she gets into the hitting position. In this position she is ready to pick up on any last moment dummy from the from the target.
- She holds her relative position.
- She cuts of the angles of the target.
- She is the aggressor in the encounter.
- The moment of impact is an upward movement.
- The tackle is high,
- lifting the prey off the ground.
- Her feet remain on the ground for the entire process.
