They have a strong translation unit in South Africa http://www.translate.org.za
They store their data in XML laid out by the Oasis group http://www.oasis-open.org
Goals
After the Operating System, Email Client and Browser, an Office Suite is the next major software application required. OO are the leaders in this field. What we need to do is ensure that there is a really strong data transferability between OO and the TurboCASH project
The entry of Microsoft into the SME Accounting market creates a great opportunity for us. OO is without an Accounting offering. TurboCASH should strive to be that offering.

- Agreeing on an XML Standard
- Understand the goals of Oasis
- Understand the XML structure of Open Office
- Understand what we have achieved so far with TXF
- Setup simple prototypes for transfer
- Starting a TurbOCASH Sub Project
- Getting buy in from Open Office
- Identify interested parties in the Open Office project
- Market TurboCASH as a brand to the OO community
- Organise a Banner exchange with their web site.
